What can I do in high school to strengthen my Pathway to College?

There are many things you can be doing in high school to strengthen your path to college, especially if you are interested in health careers. There is a pathway to college checklist the University of Washington Office of Multicultural Affairs and Diversity (OMAD) office gives students to help them plan. Check out more by CLICKING HERE!!

There are other resources through the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC) AND AAMC Choosing A Medical Career.

Are you a middle school, high school, undergraduate, or post-graduate student interested in becoming a health professional? Do you identify as belonging to a group that has been identified as underrepresented in the healthcare fields, including ethnic, racial, socioeconomically and geographically disadvantaged, or LGBTQ? Search the Northwest Health Career Path map to find information on summer camps, shadowing opportunities, after school programs, workshops, internships, college access programs, and more! This site will provide you with the educational and career support that you will need to reach your goals.
